Birthday Girl-Part Two

On Tuesday we had Lydia's Birthday Party. Our kids get to have a "friend party" every other year or so. Lydia has been planning this Princess Theme for several months.

This was Lydia's first Princess Party, and mine too! It is pretty fun putting up pink streamers and playing "Freeze Dance" to "Someday My Prince Will Come!"

This is a picture of Lydia putting princess stickers on her party crown. I just can't resist putting pictures on here that show how big and beautiful Lydia's eyes are.

Here are some of Lydia's friends and a couple cousins. Don't they all look darling?

Do you see the big smear on the right side? One of the purple flowers is pretty mangled, too. We have Danny to thank for that...and we are glad he was there to catch the cake before it fell all the way on the floor. You see, when all of the brothers got home from school, Lydia had thought it would be a good idea to pull the cake out of the fridge to show it off. Good save Danny! :)

Doesn't Lydia just look so blissfully happy?

All of the girls (and Ryan who insisted that he dress up like a prince-and really ended up looking more like Peter Pan) got to have crackers, cheese, meat cubes and a strawberry. We colored Glitter Princess Color Wonder pages and jumped on the trampoline. Everyone went home with a princess tattoo, a princess wand and a bottle of bubbles. A magical time was had by all.

Happy Third Birthday Lydia!!
